I know this has been fine to death but I'm going Costco tomorrow for the first time in ages and I'm excited!

So far my shopping list is:-

Toilet roll
Chicken breasts and thighs
Washing powder

But I feel like there's so much more we normally buy!

What would you never leave Costco without?

Kirkland dishwasher tabs
Kirkland Tissues
Pack of 12 chewy cookies
Ghiradelli brownie mix
Frozen chicken tenders
Huge lump of cheddar cheese
Aveeno
Dried cranberries
Massive lasagne
Massive Persil

Scarlettwaffle · 19/02/2019 17:41

Ooh brownie mix and chicken tenders are going on the list. And it would be a shame if chewy cookies were to fall in the trolley....

Instant coffee and coffeemate if you use it. Mince and stew. Chocolate! Look out for deals on deodorants and face creams.

Takingtimeoff · 21/02/2019 12:21

My -rather fussy- DH swears by the Kirkland Merino socks and stretchy boxers/trunk style undies 😂
I've no idea if this is of any use to you...

Rotisserie chicken
Fresh pasta sauces

pamplemoussed · 21/02/2019 21:57

Sack of Yorkshire tea bags

LittleCandle · 21/02/2019 22:02

Puppy pads - much better than the Pets at Home ones.
Turkey breast roast - we brine it and its so tender!
Chicken tenders.
Petrol!!

To be honest, we're just really getting to grips with Costco. I've only had a card for a couple of months, so we still have a lot to learn.

Mominatrix · 21/02/2019 22:09

Batteries
LED lightbulbs
Bags of financier cakes
French butter
Large tubs of Greek yoghurt/skyr
Wagu beef burgers
Large punnets of fruit
Cheese
Sausages - only place I can easily get Italian style sausages
Medjool dates
Kilo tubs of vanish (ds’s rugby team has WHITE shorts!)
Nuts
Peanut butter stuffed pretzels
Tinned tomatoes
Booze
Eggs
Condiments
Frozen fruit
Jamaican patties
Crab cakes
Organic quinoa
Cacao
Frozen Portuguese custard tarts
iTunes vouchers
Jalapeño poppers

That was just my list from this past week.

SleepingBooty · 21/02/2019 22:12

Chicken tenders - amazing KFC hot wing style frozen goujons. They are great, we have them at least once a week. Fab in a wrap.
Kitchen roll - the kirkland brand. Huge sheets, won't have anything else at home.
We always stock up on:
Toilet roll
Tea bags
Coffee beans
Sausages
Washing powder

The danish pastries are to die for and the £10 chocolate fudge cake is fab for a party.

I go once a month or so and rarely spend under £100 which is scary for 6-7 items but they last for ages. They don't take credit cards though , only debit.

Mustbetimeforachange · 21/02/2019 22:12

Peanut butter stuffed pretzels? What thing from heaven are these & how come I've never spotted them?
The wagyu burgers are delicious.

Babysharkdoodoodoodo · 21/02/2019 22:33

Cushelle, Typhoo and Fruit & Fibre on offer this week.

Also building up my tinned goods cos you know .... brexshit.

Scarlettwaffle · 22/02/2019 16:40

Well I've now got a great list for next time! Smile
Kicking myself I didn't get a rotisserie chicken....

Also regretting not getting the wagyu burgers.

Kind of skipped the frozen section as I had to wait for DH to finish work & meet me, & then had about 40min drive home. But..., frozen Portuguese custard tarts?! ShockGrin

I did spend £160 so it's not like I came away empty handed! Might have to go again sooner than anticipated though to seek out those Portuguese tarts!
