Cleaning a Neff Oven

Our oven could do with a clean (probably overdue, tbh). The information we got with it told us not to use standard oven cleaners, but the stuff Neff sell themselves to clean has really crap reviews. Has anyone got any tips for it? Or has tried classic Oven Pride and not damaged it? Quite tempted by the baking soda/vinegar paste idea...

I use the spray on cif oven cleaner on mine. No problems.

Didn't know there was special Neff stuff available.

It's been cleaned by a professional too, she didn't say it needs special Neff stuff.

If it has stainless steel handles like the ones that hide the door underneath I would strongly recommend masking up all the handles etc before using any chemicals. A so called ‘professional’ oven cleaner did not do this to ours recently and has permently damaged the stainless steel with white marks where the chemicals have eaten into the metal!

It looks like they are going to be paying to replace the handles but it has been a nightmare! Especially as it turns out they don’t have insurance for cleaning ovens!!!
