Vimto stains

Does anyone know how to get vimto stains off a cream painted wall? Tried with a damp kitchen cloth and the stains are still there. Don't want to rub too hard as the paint is coming off.

Did you have anything on the cloth apart from warm water OP?

No

Only use cold water on stains or you can set them. I'd try a damp magic sponge - if you use it lightly it shouldn't take the paint off.
