Hi I need a good vacuum cleaner that works well on dog hairs. It doesn't matter if it is cordless or not I'm just desperate to find a good one.
Thanks

I have a very large lab that sheds everywhere. We have wooden floors downstairs and carpet upstairs. We have neato a robot hoover which is amazing. Copes brilliantly with dog hair and the added bonus of me not having to hoover. We have a little handheld for the stairs.

I got the Shark lift away vacuum on Friday. I have two springers and so far it has been great. Also lifts away so great for stairs. A bit heavier than others I’ve had but really good suction. Also heard g tech is good but with dogs I always feel cordless aren’t powerful enough.

Shark liftaway duo clean true pet - either corded or cordless.

I have the cordless - which is quite a bit more expensive than the corded model - and I love it. Brings carpets up like new but excellent on my slate floor tiles too.

Guaranteed for 5 years too!

I have a large white dog that sheds everywhere and I can second the recommendation for the Shark liftaway, had mine for about 9 months, always surprises me how much it collects.

We have two dogs and two cats. Have the Miele cat and dog. Had the current one for 18 years. When it does I will get the same / new model again.

Miele are excellent - a little heavy, but very good suction and long lasting.

PepsiLola · 14/02/2019 12:36

I have a shark and a cordless dyson.

Dyson is currently collecting dust as it is absolutely pants in comparison to the shark.

I have a lift-away version. Not sure if I find the lift away aspect that beneficial but it is handy for stairs

Shark liftaway duoclean. It’s amazing.

PickAChew · 14/02/2019 16:00

On carpet sebo x4.

On hard floors, miele. I have the most basic one and it's excellent

SmellsLikeAdultSpirit · 14/02/2019 16:01

Shark

Frequency · 14/02/2019 16:02

^ What they said. Shark duo clean. Someone just bought me one after my Vax packed up. It's hands down the best hoover I have ever owned and I've owned a lot of hoovers.

VictoriaBun · 14/02/2019 16:05

I'm another who would recommend a Sebo.

Metaplasia · 14/02/2019 16:08

I've been eyeing up the shark for a while now. DH says it's too expensive but I've just discovered that the shark website lets you pay in 4 installments so that helps! My yellow lab sheds constantly and my poor vax is o its last legs and absolute shite, so this thread has been very helpful in arguing my case that we NEED the shark!

Felicia4 · 14/02/2019 16:12

Same as Bubblysqueak. Neato is brilliant as it can do a clean while you're out/ getting ready/ sleeping. And it works on floor and carpets.
We have a Pomeranian and a Spitz so lots of hair.
