Hi looking to buy a new vacuum cleaner that works well with pet hairs. Can anyone recommend a good one either cordless or not.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have pets but do have annoyingly long hair and I have lots of it.

I also vote Miele cat and dog. Here is a great review where a guy who reviews all sorts of vacuum cleaners reviews the Miele and hoovers up his dog hair. There was also a MN review on it too which raved about it. I have had mine about 2 years and love it.

Video starts just before the dog hair hoovering

I use a rubber broom before vaccuming. Dustpan and rubber brush sets are cheap - I think mine was from B&M or Wilko. Saves emptying the vacuum cleaner all the time.
Cat hairs + very long human hair mean very hairy carpets.
