Please help me save new silk dress

Hoping mumsnetters can help!

Bought a dark green silk dress from Jigsaw. It was expensive but treated myself as thought it would be an investment piece.

Wore it once and loved it. Second time I wore it I noticed two small food stains and as I was on the train to work I dabbed it with a wet wipe but only managed to make it worse creating a large damp patch with tide mark!

When I got home I hand washed it but stains are still there and I think I might have bleached the silk by using the wipe. I have now googled how to get stains out of silk and realised it was the wrong thing to do.

Tried dry cleaners who used some ‘stain slayer’ spray which looked like it had worked. I then hand washed it again on dry cleaners advice and the marks are still there.

Have I ruined my lovely new dress? Can I dye it back to original colour?

Any advice appreciated. Photos attached
TIA

I'd try dyeing it tbh as you're never going to get those marks out. Drycleaners use soap on marks and stains on silk before drycleaning. Hand dye is probably the best thing to use as the dress won't withstand a cottons wash needed for machine dye.

Thanks for your reply. Bought hand dye and will have a go at the weekend.
