Howdens kitchens - which bin bags?

I can't believe I am posting about bin bags, but here goes.

Has anyone got a Howden's kitchen with the three pull out bins - two of them are 32L and one is 21L? I am struggling to find bin bags that fit around the top of the bins, as they're all too narrow at the top - even the ones that are 50L. What does everyone else use?

(apologies for the very middle class un-rock and roll question!)

You're not buying the tall thin bags are you? Maybe try normal 50l ones

Simple human J size fit the big bins

I only put a liner in the general waste bin, use the other for washed recycling.

@findyourbacon Did you find an answer to your original query? I'd love to know what bin liner(s) to use for these bins as having the same dilemma!

Yes, I now use the Simple Human size J. They're not cheap, but I order them on Amazon Subscribe and Save, so they're a bit cheaper!

I have the 2x44L bins from Howdens and am also struggling to find bin bags that fit them...

I've looked at the SimpleHuman site and there are a load of coded bags but it doesn't seem to say what size each one is! www.simplehuman.co.uk/collections/refills-liners

Anyone know which bags would fit 44L rectangular bins pls? The circumference of the top is 134cm

Hi Foxred. Am sorry to report that they are huge - in all dimensions! It’s back to square one. Let me know if you have better luck

Thanks for responding back so quickly Sambucus. Oh that's a shame but also a relief as they are quite pricey, and for the U binliners they only seem to sell in packs of 3 not single packs. Have you tried other codes from simplehuman? I've got the J but they are too small.

Sorry that website was misleading. Can you work out from how much "too large" they are, which Simplehuman size would be better. Eg there might be one the same width but not as deep. The actual binbag sizes are all on the website.

Update! Apperently Howdens bins are designed not to need bin liners however I find this messy! After alot of research I've found the closest thing which is ALMoST perfect. These bin bags are great. I got mine from amazon but you can also buy on Dunelm

jumping in on this thread as just had a howdens kitchen installed - is there a bag which fits the 21L bin? Dimensions are 36cm x 16 cm and 43 cm deep? thank you!
