Hand held vacuum cleaner

Any up to date recommendations for a hand held vacuum cleaner? I can only find 2016 threads. I need a decent one after suffering from a seriously bad purchase which is absolutely rubbish. Don't want to spend a fortune as eventually we'll get a 2 in 1 when our current vacuum cleaner packs up. TIA

We have a little duronic from Amazon which was about £25. It can be used as a normal vacuum or a hand held. Brilliant for cleaning the car and is super lightweight. Don’t bother buying the turbo brush as that’s rubbish. Only downside is the cable is quite short. I also wash the filter quite often to keep the suction strong. It’s great value for money.

Thanks for your reply bouncy should of said though I'm looking for a cordless one 🙈 for picking up crumbs and as you mentioned cleaning out the car. So many to choose from.

I have two. Black and decker dustbuster which is really powerful and light so great for the car and stairs BUT it has very open nozzle so when you flip it back down to put away in its docking station crumbs fallout if you're not careful which is annoying. Then I have the vax gator. Bit weak. Picks up stuff from hard floors and furniture but not amazing. I also have a stick one which isn't cordless but good for quick cleaning.

I've had a Vax Gator for a couple of years now &,apart from being a bit heavy for a hand held,it's really good, especially for pet hair.
