Mattress wet through

DD has wet her bed (very unusually - she is 9 and never has before). Anyway we have stripped it but has gone right through the mattress. It is an old mattress so not too worried about staining/appearance. Have blotted as much as poss then sprayed vinegar solution on lightly to deal with odour then blotted it again. Have left it resting on its side for now. Cold damp day here so can't put it outside.
Any tips?

You could try bicarbonate of soda to soak more liquid. A steam cleaner would kill the bacteria but I’d only do that if I could get the mattress outside to dry.

Thanks.
Any ideas how to get it dry? Should I try and prop it next to a radiator or something? Hair dryer?

I was going to sprinkle on bicarbonate of soda once it is a bit dryer

I used to clean with a flannel, strong set-top solution, rinse with flannel and water then dry by a radiator but turn it every couple of hours if possible.

Can you hire a steam cleaner with an upholstery wand/brush. We have Britex and Rug doctor here in Australia. I hired a Britex from the supermarket and it cleans very well and sucks out a lot of liquid so mattress, couch etc dried quickly.

Do you have a garage or a dry shed where you could hang it up?

Thanks I have it standing next to radiator and it does seem to be drying off thankfully
