Kitchen roll

Boring thread alert - where does everyone keep kitchen roll? Mine is out on a stand on the worktop but it drives me mad! I like it to be easily reachable though. Any tips?

I don't have any. I use cloths or old newspapers instead.
It seems to freak my friends out.

I use cloths, but do keep a roll for things like cleaning up after pets, cleaning when decorating and blacking the fireplace. It's on a holder designed to hook over cupboard, It's over a rail in back porch.

Mine sits in a metal cradle that hooks onto a metal bar on the wall. Don't know where it came from as was already here. So I'm not being much help there! I use more than I'd like to. Somehow got into the habit as used to only use cloths. Likewise though I hate those holders that take up space on worktop. Keep cling film and foil in a drawer. Rather have wall holders for them too but never get round to it.

Thanks all, I don't think I've got the wall space sadly (cupboards and windows), which is a shame as that would be ideal.
I am trying to cut down on how much I use, but whenever I don't have it I knock over a mug of coffee or something and end up ruining my tea towels Confused

Mine is on a stand but in a cupboard so out of site but easily accessible.

I’ve put a tension rod under the sink and put it on that.
