Ikea curtains

Does anyone have Ikea curtains in their house? I've got a question about measurements. It says the curtains are 145cm by 250cm. The drop is 250cm. Does the 145cm mean per width of each curtain, or both together making up 145cm?

Generally, you need a lot more curtain than the width of the window - it is recommended that each panel is the width of the window. I have several set of Ikea curtains. They tend to not black out all the light - fine for me, but one set I bought for the living room did and they ended up in the bedroom.
If you are measuring for curtains, allow a hem because mine shrank in the wash. I would probably wash them before hemming them.
