Help! Musty smell....

I moved in with my partner 5 months ago and I cannot get that musty man smell out of the bedroom without leaving windows open permanently. However, once closed its back. Any tips?

Any idea what the smell is on? Is it him?

It's like a dusty, smell. Very odd. Just smells male.

Is the room carpeted? If so it probably needs proper cleaning

How often are you (plural) changing the bed linen? Are you using pillow protectors, and washing these?

And - er - are wank socks or the likes being left around?
