Air freshener

I have 3 young children 4months-5years
And I haven't used air freshener in a long time due to my sons asthma .. but I was wondering if I could use it when he's not in the room ? And will it affect my 4 month old too . Obviously I wouldt spray with him there .. I miss the smell of them!

What about an oil burner or a scented candle?

I have Yankee candles but I read online there just as bad apparently . So I stopped using them .. I just want something that won't affect the kids but make my home smell nice

How about some flowers, or pop some orange peel in a vase. Air fresheners and scented candles are quite unpleasant (to me)
