Cleaning out the bin ...

I have one of those brabantia uprighty things. The bucket that the bag goes in starts smelling bad, so I need to clean it out. But there are little holes all around the side, about a cm from the bottom! How on earth do I clean this?

I have already done it today, put bleach and water in it, left it for a bit, then poured it down the loo, but of course I got the bleach/water all over the bathroom floor in the process which isn't ideal.

we do ours outside and then tip down the drain

Place it in the bath?

bung it in the bath and use the shower to blast it clean!

do it in the garden. That's what I do.

BTW, I only realised about the holes when I'd half filled the bucket bit with scalding, bleachy water on the kitchen floor.

Duh, the bath or shower. I don't think we have a good drain outside. Oh, we do have a drain in the floor in the utility room, though. Double duh.
