If you have a second freezer, where does it live?

Have a 60:40 fridge freezer in the kitchen that's always suited us perfectly fine but hankering after a separate spare freezer.
No garage. No room in the kitchen.

My parents had a MASSIVE chest freezer I was afraid of falling into as a child but they had an allotment so it was full of vegetables!

I do have a very small utility cupboard that houses the TD it could go in, or alternatively in a wardrobe?

Where does your live and how useful is a second one really?

I have 2 extra freezers; they live in my utility room, and I find them invaluable as it means I've room to stock up on bargains or offers when I see them (eg, reduced meat, etc).

We have a second fridge freezer in the utility room. Fridge only really gets used over Christmas or if we have guests, but freezer is always full, usually extra frozen veg or batch cooking. If you have the space you will probably use it, but I would say it should be easy to get at. We had the second freezer in the garage in a while and I could never be bothered to go out to it!

I have three freezers, with the extra two being in the garage. One is usually full of fruit, bread and fish bargains, and the other has a side of pork and a lamb in there which I have had specially prepared for me by the local butchers (works out half the cost of buying meat as and when I need it).

In the hall outside the kitchen door which is half under the stairs. I thought it would look terrible but it’s sctually fine.

It’s a chest freezer.

My parents have theirs in their shed

Chest freezer in the garage. Really useful as we only have a tiny freezer in the kitchen for essentials - peas, sweetcorn, ice cream and ice cubes for gin!

Mine is down the cellar. Bit of a useful comment if you don't have one I know !

I have a chest freezer which stays in the conservatory. It used to be in the garage but after we converted the garage to an office we moved it out. My utility room is too small. The second freezer is very useful for us as the family of 6 and always having a lot of frozen food. Our fridge has a big fridge and small freezer.

We decided to get a 70cm fridge freezer instead. Planned to get a second freezer if we found ourselves short of space, but with the slightly bigger FF it's not needed.

we have an old wash house in the corner of the yard, spare fridge, big chest freezer, washer and drier out there.

You do need to make sure your freezer is okay to be "outside" some will only work properly at quite high room temperatures, so check that out first for any garage/shed/outhouse appliances.

Back of the old garage which we can access from the house, so no walking outside. Front of the garage has been converted so technically this is now the pantry.

It is a Beko larder freezer which is designed to work at lower temperatures as it is colder in the pantry than the house.

We shop at Costco so all out meat and fish gets divided and frozen. Our kitchen has an American fridge freezer and the freezer section is just too small.
