My house smells like mould :(

Following the floods on Monday we ended up with a lot of water under the floorboards of our house.

The water is slowly going but the house smells of mould its minging and I am rather worried that this means that my house is about to fall down.

What to do?

Want to get rid of the smell and also is this v.v.bad that I can smell mold?

Insurance is supposed to be sending someone round...we are covered for flood damage.

There are treatments for this and it can be sorted - happened to friends of mine and their house is fine now. Sorry I don't know actual details, but just to reassure you that it can be fixed!

Smurf, make sure you get your damp course checked.

It is starting to look like we will have to have ours completely replaced and raised. The water mark on the wall is going up instead of down which means the plaster is still sucking up water from somewhere.
