Anyone Shop At ALDI?

Im considering shopping at Aldi this coming month to see if it reduces the food bill!

Anyone already shop there and think its great, or anyone had any bad experiences?

All advice welcome!

The washing powder is fantastic.

on moneysavingexpert.com, there are threads about whats good and not good.

Also on this site, I am sure there have been conversations in the past about what to but and what to avoid.

I go for the
tinned tomatos,
nappies,
croissant pastry in a tin that you cook yourself- kids treat on a saturday morning
youghurt
fresh orange juice
snacks for parties etc.

It is great for basics and cleaning products.
I buy their filter coffees which are good value.

Just done the Aldi shop - £44!!!

am very pleased as it included a few little treats too! Had allowed the usual £60 so am now £16 better off!
