Definitely buying one...but which one? I’m thinking a 4 slot but flummoxed beyond that. Are the newgen the ones to get or do you rate others?

I bought a shiny 4 slot probably 10 years ago & it's still going strong. Not sure what model it is but it hasn't needed any repairs yet & is still shiny

I’ve got an architect, it’s lovely but I think I would’ve preferred a classic/vario. But mine was 1/2 price in JL and it was the only way I could afford one!

I have had a classic one for years. 2 slot.
My daughter remarked that it was a lot to spend on a toaster that doesn’t pop up the toast when done.
This is true.....

We got this one also around 10 years ago. It makes perfect toast etc every time! It also has a useful rack to warm croissants on.

We had one. I was so disappointed by the lack of pop, I got rid of it at the first opportunity. It just seemed a very needy appliance.

I wouldn’t buy one now.
At the time I was swept along with it being a ‘design classic’

It lives in a cupboard now.
The timer gets on my nerves as well.
