Slow draining shower to maccerator driving me bonkers!

Hi can anybody recommend a solution that will dissolve hair and that I can use with pipes that flow into a maccerator?
I’ve spoken to the saniflo guy and he says Its a blocked pipe- the sink in the loft was slow and so was the shower- I pulled a load of funk and hair from the sink and this seems to have dislodged partly and is causing the sink water to flow into the shower when I take the plug out. I’ve had a 5L bottle of the maccerator cleanser and descaler down the shower and sink for the last two hours, and got a small amount of hair from the sink still- so I’m presuming this stuff doesn’t dissolve hair- which is what I imagine is blocking the pipes. And the sink is still draining into the shower. Any recommendations you have for something you have used are appreciated.

I don't know much about macerators except that you shouldn't put strong chemicals down the pipes as they can damage the seals. Are you able to access the pipes below the sink (u-bend) as it sounds as if the sink is the problem. If you can access them you can remove the hair and built up soap scum by hand - be warned the smell can be horrendous - wash out the pipe with soapy water, replace the pipe and it should be good as new. The link should help explain it better.

I managed to get a very long snake spring thingy to feed down the pipe and it budged the blockage with no chemicals, so I’m very happy! Thanks for the replies!
