Cleaning floor

We have a floor called camaro and clean regularly with a steam cleaner.

However the strips between the tiles are looking a bit dirty. Some are fine and others aren't - I think this happened during some renovation work we had done.

Any suggestions for what to clean with? I was going to try a toothbrush and Cif maybe?

Magic eraser. Get a 30 pack on eBay or amazon or pound shop and go to town!

However if the grout is very rough it might shred the erasers faster than they clean, in which case cif with bleach or the astonish beach cream cleaner might work better.

And final option is baking soda and hydrogen peroxide paste - lay it down on the grout with a marigolded finger, leave it for 10-15 mins and then scrub with a toothbrush.

And final final possibility is that if there's a chance it's mould, which it doesn't look like it is from your post, you could try HG Mould Spray which is terrifying but works like a charm on black mould (and on washing machine seals too!)

Ooh I just looked up Camaro and it's vinyl so don't use any bleach or peroxide! Sorry, I thought it was tiles and grouting!

Try the magic eraser first, that is fine on vinyl and shouldn't shred them.

Thanks! I'll try that

@Xiaoxiong thank you so much for your suggestion! I just got round to giving it a try and my goodness the difference! I feel like I need to do the whole floor and not just the strips in between the tiles.. shame there isn't any 'mop' version so I don't have to get on my hands and knees! I'm truly converted

Ooh, glad it worked!! You definitely have to do the whole floor now...put on a good podcast and the time will fly by. Yes I am now addicted to using them on everything I can think of, white painted walls and skirting boards and scuffs on doors, the sticky bits left on jars after you peel the label off, also they clean up the white bits of trainers beautifully! (eg the toe caps and side bits of converse, makes them look like new)

Wow thanks!!

There must be some other floor cleaner that surely works well too? Getting down on hands and knees with the eraser will take absolutely forever as most of our downstairs is floored... and recommendations for polyflor camaro flooring??
