Meant to start this before I started the housework - doh.

I have 2 days to get everything decluttered and immaculate before our christmas hols start. Kids are in school today and tomorrow, dog is at grannies and I have 6 hrs left of today.

This morning was thea living room so have
Rehomed all the junk
Stripped and washed sofa cushions - smelt doggy.
Hoovered and shampooed carpets - currently drying
Cleaned windows and frames and dusted.

Just popping out now for dog food

Then its the family room. Will be decluttering the kids toys to go up the attic for toy rotation. Then scrubbing floor, dusting etc. Its got a bit on top.of me so if I can get that done and one other biggish job I will be pleased.

Please join in, misery likes company GrinXmas Smile

Dog food bought and picked up some sheets in a vain attempt to protect the sofa from further muddy dog prints.

Just swept floor and put away toys. Next job, scrub the floor.

User I'm with you! Think I joined you on your last one too. I have an hour before I'm going to collect Ds from school so my plan is to vacuum the kitchen, hall and lounge. And dust the lounge. I keep getting sidetracked and need to focus!

Hi thenew! I got a fair bit done yesterday and now I have 5 hrs today. My dd is off school as she is poorly, so that might slow me down a bit!

Todays challenge is clean washing away, change beds, bathrooms and all the corners where random crap gathers!

good luck with your missions, if you are on it again today.

User that's great. I've just done the big Xmas shop- 2.5 hours to do it and 1 hour to put it all away!

My husband suggested that one thing he 'thought we should do' before Christmas was to give the house a 'really good clean'. So after I've finished disposing of his body that's exactly what I'll do!

(I did point out that actually I do that every day, and every bleeping thing else for Christmas while he swans off to boozy work lunches and eats mince pies in the office and it took every fibre of my being not to absolutely let him have it. Grrrrrrrr.

Bathrooms done and I am beat. Will have another bash when the kids are in bed but the house looks amazing. I was supposed to go food shopping but a poorly dd has put a stop to that, so heading to the shops for 8am. At least my fridge is clean in readiness.

Well done on getting your shopping done, I am dreading it but I have a massive list.

Ahhh the christmas row, I see its brewing in your house Xmas Grin. Ours is likely to be in a few days yet but is likely to centre around housework or milSmile

Good luck with the housework, make sure you have a nice treat in for when its done.

Its a christmas miracle! Washing done, packed away, house is spotless inc floors scrubbed on my hands and knees (house maids knee, ouch!). I have decluttered and put toys up the attic for toy rotation. Presents wrapped and all I need to do is make a cake and mince pies.

Feeling smug and tired! Wine for me tonight, whilst glaring at anyone who even dares to think about making a mess Grin

I've decided it's completely pointless trying to clean this house. No one else even picks anything up! I've cleaned all week and it's now all untidy again. I'm going to whizz round on Christmas Eve with a bin bag and hide all the crap til after Boxing Day!

Good plan, thats my idea, from here on after. Happy xmas THENEWAVERAGEBEAR
