Musty smelling gym clothes

Boring but... the clothes I wear for the gym smell horrible and musty. They get washed after every use and dried well but I can't get rid of the smell. Any tips for how to freshen them?

Put white vinegar in when you wash them.

Don’t use fabric softener.

What sort of wash are you putting them on? Maybe a longer wash is required.

Ok, should have some white vinegar in the house. They go on the usual 30 degree wash, which is a couple of hours. Tried on 40 as well but that doesn't make a difference

Dettol laundry cleanser. Works on smelly teenage boy PE kits. Use powder, not liquid or tabs and add a capful of the cleanser to the drawer.

Also, do a really hot wash every now and then to clean the machine - it seems to clear up most problems.

I use a specialist sports kit wash called Halo. It really shifts the sweat and seems to keep stuff looking nice as well

I use Morrison's own make laundry cleanser (much cheaper!) And bio powder

Soak in Zoflora or other antibacterial wash, bacteria is causing the smell. White vinegar soak can really help too. 40 degree washes are much better than 30, but problem already set in with the 30 degree washes. Also agree with bio powder, over non-bio.
