Dry Clean or Risk Hand Wash??

Seen a lovely jumper in & Other Stories but it says its dry clean only.

Would you risk hand washing it: Wool 73%; Polyamide 27%

Life's too short for dry cleaning jumpers!

Thanks!

Probably not I think it would shrink. Depends on the price I suppose. If it's cheap enough that you wouldn't be gutted if it was ruined then risk it.

Depends on the price. If it's cheap I'd buy it and risk it, if it's too expensive to risk I wouldn't buy it. There's no way I'd dry clean a jumper.

Hmm... does it have any embellishments or anything like that? I have personally hand washed a lot of items that are handknitted in merino, cashmere, without any problems.

if you are hand washing it, use cool water, a wool detergent and use no agitation at all. You can remove excess water by rolling it in a towel and then walking on it.
