Freezer defrosting

Power went down between 1am and 7.30am, still not back on but due in next hour. Freezer has been closed but just checked and some of the food is a little soft, will I need to chuck it? Guidelines say 15 hours but to me it's already started to defrost... any advice? Thanks

What type of food is it? Depending on what it is you can cook it and then refreeze it.

@Lifeofsmiley there's some pork and chicken but mainly chips, waffles and a couple of ready meals. Good idea re cooking and freezing! I hadn't thought of that. Thank you
