THanks and morning jas

I have got up put on a load to dry, washed up started to tidy and then sat down again! Am just off to make up the lunch boxes and get everyone up for breakfast.

Will come back with a list later.

Jas · 25/06/2007 07:35

Good morning all

I am going to try (again) to get back on track this week.

I need to do

15 mins in dds room (x alot!)
mop kitchen
hamster
plus more I can't think of at the moment.

I am going to spend the morning out making cakes to sell, and have lost a tin I need. How have I lost a loaf tin?

tort - I hope ds1s fingers are ok today. It is definitely a lesson he won't forget!

SS - cheque is in the post I will email you later.
I make the ldc to sell, but have to do 1/2 quantities. WhenI do the recipe as it is, it sinks in the middle. (tastes lovely still, but I couldn't sell it like that!

Hi OB

Oh my poor little guineas...I have had to move their hutch, empty it all out and hope it dries out a bit. I have wrapped them up in a towel and put them in the spare hamster cage for now! They are warming up in the kitchen. The hutch is under a bit of an overhang out side the back door now, and I have put a piece of wood over the top as an extra protective roof! I'll leave them to warm up for a bit, and let the hutch dry out a bit, then remake the hutch....with maybe an extra cosy bed.
Bloody rain! Is it ever going to stop!!!!???

glitterfairy · 25/06/2007 10:41

Right house is disgusting mess!!!

List as follows:

Put away washing
Hoover and tidy downstairs
Tidy upstairs and bathroom
Sort out candles in fireplace
Start to get ready for moving

Oh dear also have work to do and a quick run!

Right, have to pick DS up soon, and I might go into town to put a cheque in the bank, and buy a guinea pig igloo (will be a nice cosy bed for them, and will hopefully keep the damp out).... need hamster bedding too.

See you all in a bit

CoffeeCrazedMama · 25/06/2007 11:07

Ludaloo - we have bought a waterproof guinea pig cover from Pets at Home (jolly expensive though - think it was about £35 so nearly as much as new hutch, lol). It is very good (when we remember to get it out of shed before it rains) as there is a flap at the front to stop the rain splashing in the front too, and DH assures me it provides plenty of ventilation. You can lift the flap back and clip in place when it stops raining. (Best to take off completely in a heatwave though.)

yaddayah · 25/06/2007 11:12

Hi All

Just a quick post as Ellie still not 100%. Just managed to get her to each some beef casserole, but I had to blend. She is refusing point blank to eat anything that resembles a lump at moment. Disovered a new tooth on bottom right hand side lower jaw, so this could have something to do with it.

Thanks jas for the thread again.Good luck with the cake making & selling.

Flapjacks all sold before they cooled down

I've been doing errands for dp all afternoon, so have done nothing at home, and it shows School run in 20 mins. I'm going to do as much as I can in the girls room before my friend knocks for me.

Yay for mouse catching!

Boo for soggy guinea pigs.

Very impressive Jas! Ellie is napping so I going to try & pull ouot the furniture in the livingroom, remove fluff & then mop floors. Visitors this weekend so it must be done. Also Mum here next week.

EHM · 25/06/2007 17:00

Livingroom defluffed, floors & skirting boards mopped. Patio doors wiped down & cute sticky finger prints removed from windows
hoover underneath cusions on couches. Decluttered table.
Many loads of washing done, td on & just hung load on line as sun has his hat on. BEdding hung out this morning will have to be washed again after heavy down poor.
Off to feed Ellie her tea, well try.

question to all my fly friends

Is it just me, or do any of you or have you felt sad when removing tiny hand/finger printsthroughout the house?

Enjoy your evening.x

ludaloo · 25/06/2007 17:12

Hello

CCM Do you know I was looking at those...they look brilliant. I think my next investment will be a new hutch, they were £44 at Pets At Home today, then my next investment after that will be a cover I think. If I can get a new hutch I'm half way there....the other one has a leak on one side. I considered getting some tarpaulin and putting it on the top just while this weather continues. I can't really have them indoors. I did get them a nice igloo thingy, so that should keep them dry until I can get a hutch.

EHM Oh poor little Ellie I hope she picks up soon. It could well be the tooth, my DD2 gets poorly with hers too. (I'm missing shouldbe too...is it 2 weeks she has gone for? )

Jas Oooooh glad the cakes went well....they sound yummy!

Bedhed hope you got through your list ok

Glitter you sound rushed off your feet! Hope your day wasn't too hectic!

Aufish Glad you are feeling better today...maybe yesterday was a hangover from your hangover!

Well....better get off. I made a nice lasagna for supper which smells pretty much done [rumbling tum emoticon]

TTFN x

ludaloo · 25/06/2007 17:17

LOL EHM I don't think I have felt sad wiping them off...but I feel sad at the thought of having to wipe them all the blinkin time....I do know what you mean though...those little tiny hands

EHM · 25/06/2007 17:27

luda It feels longer than 2 weeks that shouldbe has been away. Its funny how we miss people we don't actually see, but with on a regular basis. I also know what you mean about having to wipe away hand print all the time Enjoy your lasagne. Off to remove the banana ellie has just chucked at me, the cat & the floor

EHM · 25/06/2007 17:28

should say communicate with on a regular basis, typo due to flying banana
