Hi we brought our washing machine last November so just out of guarantee and now won't do the final spin so I'm having to wring all the clothes before hanging them up.how much is it to repair a washing machine roughly or any tips on how to fix it?

If it won't spin it might just be that the carbon brushes need replacing. If so it's a cheap fix If you are able to get the parts & do it yourself, look at YouTube. The parts will be under £20.

Have you tried unblocking your drainage filter. If it’s blocked the machine won’t do its final drain & spin cycle. Clearing it out usually does the trick.

Good luck!

I think cost about £40 to have them replaced for us.
Seal repaired/replaced (recently) was about £70 with labour.

Definitely try what pesto said, we had this recently, I was so impressed when dh cleaned the filter and it worked again, I didn't know it was a thing!

Definitely clean the filter if you haven't already - the same also happened to me!
