Vacuum cleaner with 20 meter cord

Whisper99 · 10/12/2018 12:01

I love my cordless Shark but it just doesn't give me long enough to vacuum properly. I have a new model and it gives me 50 minutes but I need more time not to cut corners.

So I need something as light and powerful as Shark but with a really really long cord.

15 meters at the very least.

Any ideas on the make and models?

Many thanks

Just buy a few extra meters of wire and rewire it onto the vacuum? Get an electrician to do it for you or a man who knows a bit of DIY.

Probably easier to buy a spare battery for the current vacuum however if you want corded IME Orek have the longest cords as they are popular in hotels but I’ve no idea how long .

My Miele is 12m.....longest cord on a vac I've ever had by a long stretch.

I have a vacuum cleaner with just a 9m cord and just unplug it and plug it in elsewhere when I run out of length. It takes 10 seconds.

20 metres seems a lot. I find there are usually alternative plug sockets within that range
