How would one go about cleaning seriously neglected bathroom tiles? Blush Serious chemicals? Steam cleaner? Paying a cleaning company to do a deep clean of bathroom only? All suggestions welcome.

Paint over them with ronseal tile paint.

I was desperate, no cleaning products worked properly on my tiles, so I gave up and painted.

It looked great although I am about to have to repaint after 2 years as the black mould in the grout is starting to show through

I cleaned mine with sugar soap and they came up really shiny.
Also recommend painting them with tile paint if you are brave.

I am prof cleaner & I would use either bleach or limescale remover let it sit on the tiles for a bit then rub/scub it off I would also use a toothbrush to get in the groves. If mouldy or black I absolutely love Cilit bang black mould remover it's brilliant (& I hate a
Most other cillit bang products).

Ooh, thank you all! I will try sugar soap and/or Cillit Bang mould remover first. I didn't even know you could get tile paint!

Viakal for water marks and limescale build up. Works better if you spray and leave for an hour, then wiping with warm water and a magic sponge.
Bleach for mould and general cleaning
