How much to have an oven cleaned?

Embarrassed about the state of my oven and think it's time to call in the professionals.
Would you use a national wide firm and can you recommend or should I be looking for a local business. Would it cost about £50? Thank you.

I always intend to have mine done every year and never do but the time I did it was £45 and was like a new oven .

Thanks pumpkin, I've found a franchise that covers my rural area called Uoven, just waiting for the quote.
Looking like new would be great.

Seriously, you'll never clean your own oven again once you get the professionals in!

I find Oven Pride (last lot I got in Poundland) works really well with minimal effort and does look sparkling

Fireandfury1 · 04/12/2018 16:30

£90 but for a rangemaster

HuckfromScandal · 04/12/2018 16:31

Best money ever spent
It seriously looked like new!

I think ours was £70 last year but Is was particularly messy.

DH has cleaned it again today with a kit from Oven Pride which was £3.89. Looks lovely and shiny, so much so I didn’t want to use it!

Does anyone use oven liners? Now my oven is super clean I’m tempted by them.

£85 for a range cooker - two ovens, six burners, and cooker hood.

I have always had my oven (Falcon range style) oven and good cleaned professionally twice a year. Sadly the man I used has had a health scare and no longer covering my area. I was recommended someone else who I rang and agreed a price. I only needed one of the ovens cleaned and the hood, agreed £80. I always keep the hob reasonably clean but the previous chap always cleaned it, removed all the knobs etc so
Assumed that is what the new chap would do. He arrived, I left him to it and went into another room to work. Seems that I only asked for the oven to be cleanedHmm
Seems that doesn't include the hob.

But I do now have a sparkly oven.
