Tar on cream carpet, how to remove please?????????

first step scrap off as much as you can with a blunt knife....not sure about second step but probably see if you can asorb any with dry kitchen towel.....

Its dried now. Anyone know if you can use WD40 on carpet.

I don't know if you can use WD40 on carpet or not .. but I know how you feel.

dd got black ink (from a cheapo biro) on the carpet yesterday. My only fix was to 'move the rug' .

think you should start googling, I once rang a helpline but I can't remember who......can you ring your house contents insurers they may send out a specialist cleaning company??
