futilityutility · 29/11/2018 10:35

Any tips v gratefully received
We have an American style fridge freezer freestanding but immoveable because it's plumbed in
However down the side I can see utter filth on the floor
How can I get to it?
It's horrendous

it will surely be plumbed in with flexible hosing...ours was, and I made sure the hose was generous enough to allow it to be moved.

or failing that, the bit at the bottom front would unscrew so you could see if yours does that and grovel about underneath with a damp cloth and a hoover tube.

put a cloth on the end of something like a bread knife that should clean some but yes it would be better pulled out

Would a Lakeland Flatmate fit the gap?

It should definitely be moveable - what if you were to move house, or it break and need repair/replace.

Move it out, turn the water off at the valve, unscrew the hose and you'll have access to the floor/wall behind.
