New microwave- is a grill useful?

Just that really- am going to buy a new microwave and wondering if having one with a grill and extra features is useful or just a basic one will do? At the moment I mostly just use it for reheating Ds's meals and defrosting frozen stuff

I recently replaced mine, and went for a flatbed instead of a traditional. I’m fed up of the turntable causing the paint to peel. I only use the damn thing for rice and the odd reheated meal.
