Cleaning floor arrrhh!

Our home is mostly wooden floor and some vinyl in the kitchen. What's the best way to clean? I've been using a mop but seems like I'm just pushing dirty water around the floor despite changing the water frequently. Just doesn't seem that clean. What am I missing here?! What's the best way to clean floors and best equipment?

I feel your pain. I have an oiled engineered floor and however much I clean it , it always looks a bit grubby.
I use Woca wood cleaner in one bucket and then have another bucket with just water. It's right through our ground floor(our choice) and the family room is huge. Takes the best part of 1/2 day to get it all washed.
I also would like to hear other cleaning options.

Hi have you tried either the Flash spray mop or a Karcher FC5- depends how big the area to clean is but I rate the Karcher floors are actually squeaky clean afterwards and no more sloshing a bucket round 😁
