Anyone fancy a live housework thread

I have been ill, kids and dh have been ill, house is a shit pit! Dh has done loads of washing but not put it away and there is stuff everywhere!

Today is my day off (only pt) so today is the day I change the house from a hovel to a home. Posting here for accountability.

I have coffee and a new audio book and 6 hrs. Wish me luck, will update. #thrilling 😁

Oh I need this I went back to bed after school drop off and I am still there! I have to go out at 1pm then won't be home until 7ish so I really need to get moving.

1. Take towels out washing machine put in drier.
2. Put load of washing on
3. Sort out the sofa cushions and 're plump
4. Hoover the whole house
5. Wash all floors down stairs (wooden)
6. Clean both bathrooms and down stairs toilet plus was floors in them.
7. Make beds
8. Put washing away from yesterday
9. Unload and reload dishwasher

10. Clean kitchen and fridge before food delivery tonight at 8pm 11. Dust downstairs 12. Tidy rooms as I go To be honest that is a lot to do in 2 hours!

I think I will make a cup of tea in my thermos mug to carry round with me

Haha back I do that, then when I put it down and come back to it, its still hot. Washing is on, nets are soaking to whiten them. Coats and shoes redistributed. I can see the floor!😂 and its mucky 😭. Sweeping and mopping next. Dishwasher has just beeped, so off to empty that.

Just ticked off number 5, went for a nice long run...

It does not take Sherlock Holmes to work out why I don’t get much done does it.....!!

The family room is sort of done but I have sorted my outfit for my girls night out tonight. I am better at procrastinating than housework. Well done on your run, I am eating toast

User I’m eating chicken nuggets!! Not exactly healthy but they are delicious!

After lunch, It’s number 3: hurricane housework, Fill log basket and light fire, Clean kitchen.

Then it’s more admin type stuff. I hate it, I could procrastinate on that for ever.

Looks like we gave up at 2pm then...... next Friday we’re going Christmas shopping so no Friday housework thread for me next week!

Yeah I gave up at 2pm ish but the house looks loads better. Thanks guys this has helped break the back of it. Feel so much better and smells less of dog
