Lakeland Heated Airer

I really want the Lakeland heated airer for my outhouse/utility room. However the price is a bit heartbreaking 😬
Do you think I could replicate it with this airer & an electric heater?

I have no radiators out there so without heating it doesn't dry.

Thanks 💐

Surely the clothes would cover the heater so not safe?
Also it would be a lot more expensive to run.

FlamingJuno · 14/11/2018 11:33

Trust me, buy the Lakeland one. Worth every penny.

mrsoutnumbered · 14/11/2018 12:43

Id be worried about a fire risk?

I have the Lakeland heated airer and it's worth every penny.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 14/11/2018 12:56

Buy it, it's brilliant. Literally couldn't be without one now.

armsandtheman · 14/11/2018 13:02

I love mine too. It took a week's washing and bedding after a holiday and dried it overnight!

cosytidy · 14/11/2018 20:30

Yes, I thought afterwards about the fire risk☺️. I really want the Lakeland one but SUCH a lot of money😔

I bought my mum the Lakeland one as she struggled to get stuff dry in her flat with no outside space. She says it’s the best present she’s ever received and raves about it to anyone who will listen.

Argos sells some electric ones now. No idea how the running costs compare though.

ChishandFips33 · 15/11/2018 07:37

Lakeland here too - cost of a cheap tumble dryer without the running expenses also doubles as a room warmer in the depths of winter!

cosytidy · 21/11/2018 21:26

Think there's any chance of Black Friday deals for the airers??

The Lakeland airer has been on QVC recently. Not sure if it's any cheaper but you can pay in instalments..
