gibberish I have complained in his contact book and I'll have a word on Friday (doesn't go on a thursday) I can take him to the nursery in the next village but it is about 15 mins away and it would be difficult as DD1 and DS both need to be at school for 9am....besides which, I need to have him at our nursery as he will be more settled at primary, as all the children who go to his nursery will go up with him to school (IYSWIM)

(Thanks to you all for listening to my moans)

Good evening everybody am feeling really tired tonight, but I need to do the ironing tonight, whilst I watch Miss Perfect! I usually do a batch of ironing whilst she's on and usually bitch at her for being so perfect! but I love the show!

My done list for today:

Hoovering, mop the floors, dusting done

washing and drying up done
clean the hob, got some grease on it, I hate cleaning grease! done
Clean out the fridge done

gibberish · 20/06/2007 19:14

Lol bewilderbeast Think I might add 'get drunk' to my list too...

Aufish, is Wednesday night ironing night the world over? Seems so! What is Miss Perfect??

Aufish · 20/06/2007 20:29

Anthea Turner, is Miss Perfect, though watching it just a minute ago, I don't think she's that perfect, what with the red slinky underwear and the sausages!!

tortoise · 20/06/2007 20:47

Evening all.
All quiet in the tort house and i am going to get on with listing a few more items on Ebay.

Lunches not made yet but i can do them in a bit!

ludaloo · 20/06/2007 21:49

Damn I missed Anthea....again....I love watching it, but always get stuck putting kids to bed. Is it repeated on sunday I wonder

Thanks Gibberish, I'll let you know what she says about it. I have calmed down now, but I'm still going to leave my rant in his book . Its not on really. The leaders are new and I think the "honeymoon" period is over. They do have some really difficult children in at the mo (I know I have helped out a fair bit recently) but that is no excuse to get stressed and start shouting.

Anyway, your lists have all been great today so many done's !!

I am off for an early night, dh is working so I will enjoy the bed to myself for a while.

gibberish · 20/06/2007 22:06

You are right luda, still no excuse to upset a 3 yo like that. Don't normally do but feel you and your little boy warrant one. Have a good sleep. Am back to work tomorrow so probably won't be back on until Saturday now but will try to pop on to say hi at some point. Have a good few days.

Had a very productive day today so feeling really pleased. Finished the ironing whilst watching Miss Perfect (lol Aufish at red underwear and sausages - missed that bit...) and finished the missions. Speak to you all later.

SimplySparkling · 20/06/2007 22:07

Hello to all.

luda Sorry to hear about your ds' day. If I can help with going over Welsh pronounciation at all at any time, do let me know. It doesn't take away from the fact that he is far too young to be put under pressure for learning to say words and teachers must be appreciative of the non Welsh backgrounds of the children they teach. Learning Welsh should always be a positive experience with supportive, gentle teaching. Take a look at what you've written tomorrow and, if necessary, take out anything that's emotive and keep it factual i.e. Frederick said that Mrs Smith shouted at him yesterday for not saying his words correctly. This upset him both at the time and later on at home. I am disappointed that he was shouted at and I would like to discuss this with you at your earliest convenience (or whatever.) Try to make an appointment for when dh can be with you and someone can have the children. That's my advice, anyway. I hope he is able to forget that it has happened soon and that it won't happen again. He's such a lovely little chap.
