washing a down coat- anyone done?

Have just washed a Uniqlo light down coat. used hand wash cycle in the machine along with handwash laundry liquid..

It's ready to dry now, The label says do not tumble dry but the whole coat looks very 'flat'. Label says rub etc to restore volume.

Would it work to tumble dry on a low heat to restore fluffiness?

Just leave it. They look terrible when they're freshly washed but they puff up by themselves as they dry.

I have several coats from the same brand. I just give them a hard shake several times while hanging on an coat hanger on the drying line .

Tumble dryer plus a tennis ball.

Yes, low heat tumble with a tennis ball or those eco ball things.

thanks. washed and tumble dried lightly and all ok. No tennis balls in house at present.
