Hello. I'm new to mumsnet but was hoping you wonderful lot would be able to help give me some advise on my cooker.
It's relatively new having bought it a year ago and the glass on the door is filthy with splatters that won't come off.
I have tried a few different cleaning products and nothing's seeming to shift it.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I could use to get it sparkling again?
Any help is much appreciated

Hi is this the glass on the door you are referring to? You could try putting in a baking tray with water and turn the oven on high leave for 30 mins and the steam should then help to have lifted the marks give them a good scrub with fairy first and go from there. There is also a chance if it is your oven door that the glass panel may come off - ours are Bosch and the doors come off for cleaning.

Get a glass scraper (razor blade in a plastic handle). www.amazon.co.uk/Minky-Ceramic-Hob-Glass-Scraper/dp/B008CZGD9M?tag=mumsnetforum-21

Spray everything with half and half hot vinegar and washing up liquid. Scrape glass. You might need salt or bicarb to shift burnt on grease.

Yes it's the glass on the door. Oh I didn't know some of them come out, i will have to have a look and see if ours does.
What sort of vinegar Cynderella ?

Any vinegar.

Our glass door slides up and out.

I've had great success with a scourer and that Astonish paste for ovens - cheap and non toxic!

Definitely a glass scraper. Screw fix do them for about £1.50. Cif power and shine degreaser is good as is elbow grease. Spray on leave for a few min then go at it with the scraper.

This one. It's good and about £1.50 in home bargains.
