Second hand cooker

DH wants our new cooker and hob to be second hand so we can get Miele or similar.

I'd rather get new Bosch appliances.

Make aside, has anyone bought second hand and felt it was worth it?

I've had new, graded and second hand. I think your husband's right in that you'll get more for your money second hand. That said, if you know exactly what you want, it could take a long time to find the right ones in good condition.

My friend is selling her gas cooker because she just doesn't like it. She just uses it for reheating and basic cookery - it's lovely and I'd have it if it would fit in my kitchen. I couldn't afford it new, but would happily have hers.

Miele have an outlet store selling graded goods at Abingdon.

They don’t deliver so you would have to collect but might be worth considering.
