Are double high sleepers wobbly?

I'm thinking of getting a metal double high sleeper because I've got the box room (given the decent rooms to the girls) and I'm starting uni in september so need somewhere for a desk. A double high sleeper seems the ideal solution. My daughters got a single one and hers isn't wobbly, does anyone have a double one and does it wobble?!

we have a wooden double high sleeper, it moves a very little when you shift around, but is not what I would describe as wobbly. We use it for guests rather than all the time though, but I have slept on it and it is fine. We have computer etc under it too.

Hmmm, so hopefully a metal one would be a little sturdier? I'm going to use it full time (just me!)

No experience of metal ones, sorry. Will you be able to go and try one out in a showroom?

Yeah I was thinking I could do that. Would be lovely to have a nice big desk for my uni work, and a bookcase - ooo I'm getting excited! Space!
