Good morning to all, I will be back from the school run and have to get on with the list from yesterday. So my list is as follows:

Hoover and sweep upstairs, stairs and downstairs
put away the ironing
tidy the master bedroom
go to town and get a few things
pack and post a parcel for a friend
clean the dining room table and put new tablecloth on
sort clothes out for court hearing
start sorting out wedding outfit for next week, hope the weather is better for them.
Wash and dry up and clean the kitchen as well

Not looking forward to the school run as it is pouring down! Be back later!

I left my sink empty, but not shiny last night. I will try and shine it properly today.

Toddler group after the school run today, then back here to try and make a dent in the mes that I call home.

Hello guys. I am trying to get back on track. I left bleach in my sink last night and caqme down to a ring of fat! Have dealt with that one and also cleaned both toilets overnight to make them sparkly all over.
Hoovering done downstairs and washing load on so my to do list today is as follows:

Tidy and sort dining room
Write a report
Shine sinks
Empty dryer and put away
Clean sufaces in the kitchen
Clean over top
Clean living room
Go to gym

Relax and enjoy cleaner house!

Morning aufish and jas by the way and I will catch up with everyone else today as well. Next week will be better.

My sink is the same as yours Jas. Empty but not shiny.

I have cleared away the breakfast stuff though and put a load in the washer. Out most of the day so wont get to do the mission but plan to make up for it with a big clear out of spare room this weekend.

bedhead If you come on these threads for long enough, you'll notice that my lists are very familiar as I carry over so much from one day to the next! Ooops.

I'm not working today so I hope to do lots in the house.

Done:-
~ did washing up last night though I didn't feel like it. Dalziel and Pascoe was on as a diversion, though and I do like a young (Pascoe, young? Not that young really. I must be showing my age!) smartly dressed man. Guess that's why I work in an office!
~ did a load of washing last night and put it out this am
~ stripped the 3 beds and w/m on
~ measured my ironing/sorting clean laundry pile - in a basket on a chair, knee high to shoulder high. Eeek!
~ emptied and reloaded d/w

To do list:-
~ write e-mail to cousin
~ ironing - lots!
~ carry junk back to spare bedroom, sorting out as much as poss
~ e-mail friends and family
~ order christening gift once info rec'd
~ hoover throughout
~ feed neighbour's cat this am, pm and evening
~ find, write and post bil's b/d card
~ get dh to give me contact details for cottage owner this pm so I can send the towel back

I know I don't spend much time on this thread and skim through on the days I'm working, but have we seen go recently? And EHM? I hope everyone from this thread is fit and well.

Hello, moving from the babysteps thread if thats ok with you all! I have those lists in my head simplysparking they never seem to get done. Bore da BTW (all my family are welsh speakers! i only got as far toddler welsh unfortunatley) So today I am going to:

• take baby to clinic to get weighed as haven't done for 2 months
• The Mission
• Put bathmats in washing machine
• Tidy junk in living room
• Wash dishes (sink not shiny at all)
• spend 15 mins de-cluttering basket of 'stuff' on fridge
• do something with pile of receipts

Was half way home from the school run when i found myself still clutching ds's book bag, so had to go back again

bedhead Are you still living in Wales? If so, will your child(ren) go to a Welsh medium school? You'll pick up more Welsh if they do. Mine is very basic btw.

Bore da! Another welsh beginner here (my children all go to welsh speaking schools...my eldest is 5 and is very good...puts me to shame!)

Right very busy day today....Its the School Summer Fete this afternoon and I am manning the "Name The Teddy" stand! I am half way through baking some cakes for the cake stall, and turfing out some old toys for the "White Elephant" stand.

Have to whizz round the house and give it a quick Blitz....finish baking.....go to PO....collect DS....make something ready for supper as I won't have time later...and one hundred other things inbetween!

If I have chance I'll pop back later

Back again, got absolutely soaked and as usual the rain stopped as soon as I got back in.

Been to the gym now and seen a new house to rent whihc is bigger and cheaper because it is not in a village but in the town which suits me! we are looking round it tomorrow! Also have job interview! so will be able to pay the rent.

Right now onto the serious jobs. Starting with a quick cup of coffee, shower and breakfast.

Thanks jas I drove round and it is in a nice quiet area and looks nice tbh. THe kids will see it tomorrow and make their minds up. It is also cheaper and I can get my other things out of storage.

My fish tank is going green Too much sun, but I don't have anywhere else for it to go.

Jas You're right! I do some bizarre things! I was making arrangements for a conference once and suggested to someone from the sustainable transport group that he could travel to it with the car rallying chap (or somesuch). Green yes, but not if they'd battered the heck out of each other en route!

I just grabbed the getting slightly damp in the rain just starting washing in and it is now bucketing down!

Ooops. Just remembered that my 2 children were supposed to be doing a sponsored walk with school today!
