good luck for your move, but can i say--

try to relax. you have everything you need immediatly. move in. open wine and enjoy it. you will find out what else you need/want as and when. - i've been master of my own castle for over a decade and i STILL need stuff!! - i got my first proper potato peeler last week!!

move in. enjoy. when you go about your day to day life you will go i need X. go out and get it then.

mumzarello · 14/06/2007 15:38

Do you need to buy it before you move in?

Seriously if you do you will buy loads of stuff you don't need!!

ROFL @ xmas tree too!!!

Something you will need though - loo roll

JackieNo · 14/06/2007 15:39

Corkscrew!

tigerschick · 14/06/2007 15:43

When we moved we stocked up on really boring stuff like dish cloths, scouring pads, dusters, washing-up liquid etc. Things that you will need straight away but will last ages so you don't need to worry about replacing them too quickly. Good point about loo roll

JackieNo · 14/06/2007 15:44

Maybe a dustbin, if that's not supplied by the council?

And good luck with the move.

tigerschick · 14/06/2007 15:44

Kitchen bin

But mostly agree that you will realise what you need as time goes on

rebelmum1 · 14/06/2007 15:46

rebelmum1 · 14/06/2007 15:47

rebelmum1 · 14/06/2007 15:48

Sunshinemummy · 14/06/2007 15:49

rebelmum1 · 14/06/2007 15:53

mother2b · 14/06/2007 16:00
