We recently replaced our carpets and decided to go for a long pile synthetic carpet. It seemed like a good idea at the time but our Dyson Animal is absolutely useless on the new carpet. It just gets stuck and pulls up all the carpet fibers. As a result I'm hoovering less and am constantly finding bits all over the floor. We have a crawling baby too so feel I should try to keep on top of the hoovering. Can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner that works well on long pile carpets? I was wondering about perhaps getting a Shark but have no idea. I'd be very grateful for any recommendations :-)
