Ladybirds in kitchen!

Got home tonight and discovered about 10 ladybirds on my kitchen ceiling. How the hell did they even get in?! What's the best way to get rid? Have heard they may leave yellow mark if scared (white ceiling) and also heard they carry STDShockConfused or do I just leave them and wait for them to move.

Can't you scoop them up and put them outside where they can take their chances?

I wouldn't leave them there, but I wouldn't kill them either.

Apparently it's a good year for ladybirds and I read this week to expect a lot of them- can't remember where.
I love ladybirds.

We have loads - dustpan and brush and out in the garden

The. STD isn’t contagious to humans.

@EscapeToTheMoon I will admit that I only learnt that today! Blush I got sucked in by tabloid headlines!

I just left them to it and they've gradually gone off somewhere else! Grin
