How are you drying your clothes?

Usually we hang them up on clothes horses, but I've the flat is feeling damp and we're getting more mould than usual.

We don't have a garden, and I'm reluctant to use the dryer function on the washer-dryer as I'm worried about the cost. I used it for an hour yesterday and the clothes were still soaking too.

What does everyone do at this time of year to dry their clothes?!

Underwear gets dried in the washer-dryer, the rest of the clothes go on a clothes airer that is next to a radiator and a dehumidifier. That way the clothes are more spaced out on the airer without the underwear being there and so dry quicker.

Dehumidifier. Its not cheap to buy but I have no issues drying stuff and my house is dry too. Its wonderful.

Heated drier.

Also, towels and bedding get dried in the washer-dryer as it's faster.

Try giving your clothes an extra spin at the end of the wash.
I'd recommend you get a dehumidifier to help with the damp feeling in the flat, your washing will dry quicker too.

Wash at home then round the corner to the laundrette. 3 pound for 30 mins and takes around 4 loads of washing

On clothes horse in front of the radiator, but you need the heating on and windows open.
