Getting a cleaner

How many hours would a cleaner need for a 1 bed 1 shower room flat with a small kitchen and living room . I was thinking 2 hours a week every week. I spoke to a local cleaner and they said at least 3 hours every week . It's for blind person so they would need everything doing as they can't do much in between . Tia

My cleaner only takes about an hour an a half to do 2 bathrooms, plus a 3rd (downstairs) toilet
2 staircases
hall plus two landings
two bedrooms
Big kitchen diner
Dining room
Lounge

So I'm not sure why it would take 3 hours to do so much less in your friend's flat.

I can understand a cleaner saying that it might not be worth too much traveling for only two hours pay, but I can't see how they can say they need twice as much time to do about 1/3 of the work my cleaner does.

I have a 4 bed, two bathroom, downstairs loo, two reception room house and my new cleaner says 2.5-3hrs.

Cleaner here, 2 hours would be enough imo.

Just for comparisons sake - we have a 3 (large) bed semi detached with two reception rooms,kitchen, two loos, utility area, and our cleaner does it all in 3 hours. Yours should take about 90 mins (but round up to 2 hours).

2 hours should be fine!
