Morning all Hope everyone is well today
I was woken up by a very noisy dawn chorus at 5am this morning and haven't managed to get back to sleep. Lay in bed for about 30mins then got fed up so have packed the lunches, cleaned the cloakroom, hung out some washing and put another load in the wm
I have mostly laundry to do today so will be ploughing on with some ironing and sorting out once the kids are out of the way then I need to pop to the bank and do a couple of other errands later in the day.

Morning shouldbe

I have errands to do this morning, and visiting friends this afternoon. I'm on Rainbows/Brownies duty this evenig, so can't see me getting much FLYing done. I cleaned out my fridge last night (the light doesn't work so that needs to go on my list of jobs)

DP has taken the baby seat to work in his car today so I will have to borrow one for the Rainbows run. I think we need tqwo now we have two cars. I will gt very sick of moving it back and forth, annd he never remembers to do it.

Morning Ladies

Well we had another broken nights sleep with DS's coughing. I am not sending him to nursery this morning, he is soooo tired.

DD2 is over her high temp now though.

They are all on the brink of colds too. (this year has been really bad for bugs!)

Better get on....washing needs doing here too. I actually need to iron as well

TTFN xx

GlassSlipper · 13/06/2007 08:08

Morning all,

Did the bathroom screen the other day. Hoping DH will help me clear spare room at the weekend so plan to rest today as DD2 still not great and I'm tired.

My tip for the day - Everyone go and water your plants as they'll dry out in this hot weather.

ludaloo · 13/06/2007 09:13

Waves to all shouldbe well done on the weightloss !

I think i'm going to stick with the 15 mins thing, i seem to get more done than writing a to do list

My 1st effort
Loaded remains of breakfast stuff into d/w
cleaned fluff filter in w/m
put away non ironing clean laundry
made ds bed (duvet was pretending to be a dalek
5 min clear up of toys

Whew !

Place looks much better already

Back later for another go

Have a good day !

GlassSlipper · 13/06/2007 10:02

I much prefer the 15mins efforts too. The lists depress me when I dont finish them

gibberish · 13/06/2007 10:21

Hi everyone!

Well done shouldbe! 10lbs is an excellent loss! Went running on Monday evening. Had planned to go to aerobics but it was such a beautiful day it was too nice to be indoors.

Okay, day off today so need to do home blessing. Also need to do filing, loads and loads of washing and ironing , take dd1 horseriding and afterwards take all girls swimming. Not feeling very well today though so might cancel that. Was up through the night with agony cystitis (sorry prob TMI) and had to go to emergency doctor. Antibiotics making me feel a bit sick this morning. Never mind, rather be sick than have cystitis any day! That reminds me, need to also pop to chemist and get the rest of the AB's.

Okay off to get started.

yaddayah · 13/06/2007 10:52

Wave to gibberish Horseriding and swimming crikey ! Hope you feel better soon, i used to get it .. hot water bottle and robinsons barley water always help as well

2nd 15 mins

Fed the birds left over bread
Watered sunflowers/tomatoes (thanks for the reminder!)
Sorted out recycling
Put d/w on
Found missing laundry basket full of ironing i'd forgotten about
Put away remainder of non ironing stuff
Went through missing sock bag and reunited a few (still have about 7 black socks that don't match ??)

Need a cup of tea !

gibberish · 13/06/2007 11:17

Hi yaddayah How did you manage to lose a laundry basket lol? I could do with losing mine...

Been to chemist and got AB's. yaddayah, DH got me what he thought was cranberry juice to help me last night. Turned out it was cranberry mixed with other fruit juices - disaster!! Made me 300 times worse... ah well, you live and learn.

Nearly finished tidying up. First load of washing almost finished. Beds made and bedrooms tidied. Went to car to get prescription and got sidetracked - ended up clearing out car lol. Going to get it valeted tomorrow I've decided.

Off to hoover, dust and clean upstairs bathroom now. Bathroom is ok actually so dont need to worry about the missions although do need to clean the shower curtain... actually I think I'll buy a new one today instead. Need it. Ah got shopping to do too...

Jas · 13/06/2007 11:31

I agree the 15 min bursts are the way top go.

I am a chronic list maker though, and forget everything so I still do lists of things to do, but not the everyday stuff.

I haven't done a great deal so far, but kitchen and bathroom are not too bad, so I will see if ds will go to sleep for a bit, and get cracking upstairs.

I will start by watering my tomatoes and sunflowers. Thanks glass

Hi

Been to the PO...popped in to the Farmers Market and got a HUGE bag of woodshavings for a fiver!! Picked up some dog bisciuts (don't have a dog but the vet suggested giving them to the hamster to keep his teeth short...had to take the hamster to the vet in the end...felt too bad...he had an ear infection )

All I have left do do is find hay for the guinea pigs. (and buy some guinea pigs!!)

I have done well in the house...
~Another load of washing in
~D/W unloaded
~Hoovered upstairs and downstairs
~Made beds
~Tidied living room
~Made lunch

I have my friends little girl for an hour at 2 oclock while she goes to keep fit.
Then I'm off to pick DD1 up and go back to my friends for supper.

See you all in a bit xx

ludaloo · 13/06/2007 12:39

(Tort Note Guinea Pigs blagged my dh we needed 2 of them ....told him I knew someone who said they much prefer company )

GlassSlipper · 13/06/2007 12:40

Everyone is doing so well.

If you have watered your house plants now that is great.

I havent actually done 15 mins yet but I will when DD2 goes to sleep. I have tidied the kitchen though, watered my plants and done some pre-school admin.

ludaloo · 13/06/2007 12:45

glasss oh yes....must do inside plants too

gibberish poor you....hope it clears up quickly.....try ginger biscuits for the nausea???

grouchyoscar · 13/06/2007 13:11

Hello ALL hope you are all well and everything

Message for Jas/Jelly...Patch and Austin are fine thanks, they live in one of those big IKEA glass cracker jars in DS' Bedroom. Austin is still a tad shy but is getting used to being handled, Patch is still his/her bold nosey self and exploring everywhere (made a run for it while I was cleaning them out) They also have a new pal Spot (well I say pal, this one is really mardy, think it wants to be a pebble) They enjoyed their bath the other day and are all asleep in their house atm

Well I have been flying, making breakfasts and lunches, emptying DW, putting away S&Sing etc and I spent this morning visiting the local children's centres. The artwork has been displayed and I was a little as I couldn't get involved as it was the time I was really ill

I'm sure I can uncover a hot spot to blitz so I'll say byeee for now x

gibberish · 13/06/2007 14:04

Thanks ludaloo. Feeling a bit better now, probably because I have eaten!

Good grief, today has been a weird day, fly-wise. Keep getting side tracked but in a good way. Tidied out some cupboards that have been bothering me, done the filing, cleared out the car, watered the plants and even planted the bedding plants and bulbs in the garden! Been meaning to do that for weeks so that's a relief. Got to pick up dd1 from horseriding in a bit then straight to shopping. Last load of washing on.

so still to:

Shopping
Hoover
Dust
Clean bathroom
Ironing (do that while watching tv tonight)

yaddayah · 13/06/2007 14:35

30 mins (got quite enthusastic !)

s/s kitchen
unload d/w
ironing (and putting away)

gibberish laundry basket was chucked under a table, was full of all the bits that don't get worn that often so I hadn't really missed it

purpleturtle Are you new ? Namechange ? Sorry missed a couple of days so welcome if you are or ignore me if not

Back later .. got to tidy kitchen as tesco delivery man is coming today

yaddayah · 13/06/2007 14:38

luda Guinea Pigs ..awww I'd love to have some (unfortunatly so would our cat...)

GlassSlipper · 13/06/2007 15:00

I know purpleturtle - she has been babystepping out with me ;)

gibberish · 13/06/2007 16:12

Back from shopping and have hoovered and dusted. Even shined my sink! Downstairs gleaming. Off to tackle the bathroom now and put up my new shower curtain

Shopping - done
Hoovering - done
Dusting - done
Wash kitchen floor - miraculously done
Clean bathroom - off to do it
Change shower curtain - most exciting thing today!
Ironing (do that while watching tv tonight)
