Recommend me a cordless stick hoover please

I've just bought (after reading so many threads on here singing it's praises) a Shark hoover and I LOVE it! We've got brand new carpets upstairs and it brings them up beautifully. However, downstairs we have solid wood floors everywhere so I'd like to get a cordless stick to do down there. I have two cats so quite a bit of dust and they trail litter everywhere so I sweep up a few times every day. I'd love a cordless hoover to just whip round with. Any recommendations? I only want to spend around the £100 mark at the mo (I know Shark do one bit it's about £250, like the Dyson).

I'm looking for something that will pick up small particles well on solid floors and not just spin them away. TIA.

I'm afraid I can only recommend the shark. It is amazing and worth every penny. We have new deep pile carpets and it fluffs them up perfectly

NOT the Dyson V6. It is shit. When it dies I’ll be getting a shark.

I'm not looking for one to use on carpets...

Well if it helps I can tell you what not to buy, a Gtech. Absolute rubbish.
I got the hand held one along with the upright and both are useless. Tbf their customer service is excellent but they have now replaced the upright twice due to different issues (so I’m on my third one within two years) so really not a good product. The hand held (which you can sort of use as a stick with its long extensions) doesn’t pick up anything bigger than the lightest smallest piece of fluff. I’ve got two Dyson sticks, V10 and a V7 and I don’t love either of them tbh. I did have a Vax upright which was brilliant (it’s dead now though as they do get very heavy use here), so as they’re a bit less than the Shark, that might be a good buy. I’ll be trying it when the Dysons either die or pee me off so much I can stand them anymore!

We bought the vax blade a few months ago. I love it so far. Very simple to use and the battery lasts long enough for me. It's great to just grab and go.
i think it was about £120 but you can buy direct from vax with instalments too.

I got the shark stick for about £150 on Amazon prime day. If you can wait until the end of November it will probably be on sale again on black Friday. I live mine for carpet and hard floors.
