Big rug with wee stains- how to clean?!

Hi! Basically we have a big rug in our living room (not a too large, but still quite a big heavy rug) and we have a lot of stains on it (think coffee/pup wee etc) and it looks generally dirty. We've tried scrubbing it before and hoovering regularly but it never looks any better.

What should I do? Get it professionally cleaned? If so how much do you think that might be? Or can I take it to the dry cleaners?

Have you tried the vanish spray for spot cleaning carpet stains? Then the high traffic kind for giving the whole thing a refresh? Have worked wonders for us. Good luck!

You can generally hire carpet cleaners from dry cleaners. (Well you can from my local!) They give you cleaner and tell you how to use it
