I couldn’t get a clearer picture than this unfortunately. I found a couple of them in the kids’ room in the last week when I was sorting through their clothes. Does anyone have any ideas? This thing is about 3mm long, light brown and very furry. Thanks in advance.

A mite of some sort I would think. I'm pretty sure it's the wrong shape for a bedbug.

If you've only found the one it very likely isn't a problem.

Is it a carpet beetle?

Spam88 · 02/10/2018 15:00

Carpet beetle larvae would be my guess.

Looks like a wood louse

Collect in a small pot and contact a pest controller or your local environmental officer via council?

Daisy2315 · 02/10/2018 16:08

I’m pretty definite that’s a carpet beetle larvae.
